Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar tools used on www.digitalitymarketing.com (the "Website"), what each one does, and how to turn them off. For everything else about your data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Pixels, tags and local storage do similar jobs. We call all of these "cookies" here.

2. How your choice works

In the U.S.: analytics and advertising cookies are on when you arrive. The banner lets you say no, and you can change your mind any time from Your privacy choices or the link in our footer.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics and advertising cookies stay off.
EU and UK visitors: analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you click accept.
When you say no, the Meta and OpenAI pixels don't run, and Google tags run in a restricted mode that doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies.
Your choice is saved in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you'll be asked again.

3. The cookies we use

Essential. These keep the Website working and secure and can't be switched off.

digi_consent (Digitality, local storage): remembers your cookie choice. Kept until you clear it.
digi_lead (Digitality, session storage): carries your name and email from our form to the booking calendar so you don't have to type them twice. Deleted when you close the tab.
__cf_bm, _cfuvid (Cloudflare, used by our hosting, booking and ad partners): bot and spam protection. 30 minutes to the end of your session.
Our form and booking tools may set their own short-lived cookies to keep the form working.

Analytics. These show us how people use the Website so we can improve it.

_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): tells visits apart and counts pages and events. About 13 months.
digi_engaged (Digitality, session storage): notes that you've spent real time on a page so it's only counted once per visit. Deleted when you close the tab.

Advertising. These tell us which ads lead to inquiries and let us show our ads to people who've visited the Website.

_gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_ls (Google Ads): connects a click on our ad to a later inquiry. 90 days.
IDE (Google, on doubleclick.net): ad measurement and remarketing. About 13 months.
_fbp, _fbc (Meta): connects visits and ad clicks on Facebook and Instagram to actions on the Website. 90 days.
__obref (OpenAI): measures ads we run on OpenAI products. About 12 months.
digi_client (Digitality, local storage): marks existing clients who use our client login so we don't show them ads meant for new customers. Kept until you clear it.

These providers may also collect data about your activity on other websites over time. Their own policies explain how: Google, Meta, OpenAI.

4. Server-side measurement

Some measurement happens from our servers instead of your browser, for example telling Meta or Google that a form was submitted. Contact details sent this way are hashed first. If you've opted out, we either don't send these events or send them flagged for restricted use. Details are in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

5. Other ways to control cookies

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking essential cookies may stop forms or booking from working.

6. "Sale" and "sharing" under state law

Some advertising cookies may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California and other state laws. You can opt out from Your privacy choices.

7. Changes

We update this page when we add or remove tools, and change the effective date at the top.
